Engineering Project Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Specialist to join our team and contribute to the successful delivery of a landmark tunnelling project.

About the Role

The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering this high-profile project, gaining hands-on experience and developing their expertise in mechanical engineering.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate plant equipment and resources according to project requirements and industry standards.
  • Oversee project plants, including EPB TBM, spoil conveyor, MSV, ventilation, backfill grout plant, water treatment, power/water supply, material handling, cross passage excavation plants, and related equipment.
  • Work closely with the Tunnel Plant Manager and Plant Manager to ensure daily plant maintenance is carried out efficiently.
  • Monitor spare parts availability based on project priorities.
  • Collaborate with the TBM Mechanical Superintendent to ensure safe and efficient inspections and maintenance, keeping reports up-to-date.
  • Support the Safety, Quality, and Environmental teams to meet compliance standards.
  • Foster effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Maintain adherence to established policies, processes, and procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Relevant safety, construction, and industry certifications and tickets.
