Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Civil Construction Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing civil construction projects across the Logan and Gold Coast Region.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Coordination
- Develop and implement project plans, including construction schedules, resource allocation, and cost tracking.
- Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Site Management
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols and project specifications.
- Oversee onsite teams, plant, and equipment to ensure efficient project execution.
- Quality Assurance and Control
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet client expectations.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to identify and address any issues.
- Contract Administration
- Manage contract administration, including procurement, allocation of resources, and cost tracking.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and client expectations.
Requirements
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in civil construction, with a strong background in project management.
- Skills and Qualities
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to establish strong working relationships with project teams, stakeholders, and clients.
- Strong understanding of civil construction processes, including project planning, site management, and quality assurance.
