The Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis in Queensland. As a key member of our production staff, you will be responsible for assembling aluminium components according to work instructions and drawings provided by supervisors and production staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assemble aluminium components in line with work instruction & drawings from supervisor and production staff.
  • Conduct the work in accordance with standard job builds / SOP.
  • Build jobs as directed by supervisors and production staff, ensuring work is completed to appropriate standards and within time constraints.
  • Report broken/damaged machinery, making sure all problems are tagged out correctly.
  • Weld and fabricate as required and to specifications.
  • Adhere to Company Health and Safety Policies and Government rules.
  • Participate in staff consultation and communications such as Toolbox Talks and training.

Requirements:

  • Trade Qualified in a relevant industry is required.
  • Health and Safety training is desirable.
  • Extensive fabrication experience.
  • Understanding of Safe Work Practices.
  • Good ability to communicate effectively.
  • Attention to detail.

What You Will Gain:

Working Conditions:

  • Lift, carry, and maneuver material and equipment through physical and mechanical means.
