We are seeking a highly skilled researcher to join our team at UNSW Climate Change Research Centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct cutting-edge research in physical oceanography and atmospheric dynamics.
  • Collaborate with researchers to advance knowledge and solutions.
  • Develop and manage new and existing research projects.
Requirements:
  • PhD or equivalent qualification in a related field.
  • Strong background in physical oceanography and/or atmospheric dynamics.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Programming skills in Unix/Linux environment (e.g. Fortran, shell scripts, NCL, R, Python, MATLAB).
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience in running and/or analysing output from ocean, atmosphere, or coupled models.
  • Knowledge of small-scale ocean processes and/or air-sea interactions.
