Aussie Locums is seeking a Clinical Health Specialist to provide high-quality primary healthcare services in a rapidly expanding outreach program in Cairns, FNQ.

This rewarding role offers the opportunity to work closely with a dedicated multidisciplinary team and contribute to the delivery of free, person-centered medical, allied healthcare, and social support services to disadvantaged community members.

The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of experience in primary healthcare, particularly in Indigenous health, chronic disease management, and mental health. A strong commitment to delivering patient-centered care and building rapport with clients is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients in Cairns and surrounding areas
  • Work collaboratively with the Indigenous health worker, GPs, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in regular team meetings
  • Nurture relationships with clients, referral partners, and community stakeholders to ensure successful service delivery
