Cafe Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a friendly and organized individual to join our cafe team. As a Cafe Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and maintaining general kitchen areas, including dishwashing and waste management.
  • Unpacking and signing off deliveries, ensuring stock is rotated and packed away properly.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked food preparation area.
  • Serving customers efficiently and courteously.
  • Working as part of a team to meet daily service targets and standards.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of hospitality experience, ideally in a similar role.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene.
  • Physically capable of lifting and moving stock.
  • Organized and efficient with good communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn & can-do attitude.
  • Flexible availability between Monday to Friday.
