Job Description:
As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with participants to understand their needs and goals, developing personalized treatment plans to promote independence and improve quality of life.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough assessments to identify participants' strengths and challenges
- Developing and implementing evidence-based interventions to address functional limitations
- Providing expert advice on adaptations to environments to enhance accessibility and safety
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working with NDIS participants and their families
- Relevant insurance, including professional indemnity and public liability
- Police clearance, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Active ABN
