About the Role

The Supply Manager is responsible for managing the supply departments at Albury Wodonga Private Hospital and The Border Cancer Hospital. This includes coordinating and controlling the purchasing of goods, services, and equipment in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and control the purchasing of goods, services, and equipment
  • Direct and coordinate the efficient receiving, storage, issuing, and stocktakes of general and medical supplies and equipment
  • Maintain all administrative and clerical requirements of the role

About You

The successful candidate will be a dynamic and self-motivated individual with the ability to lead and direct a team as well as display excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a range of stakeholders at all levels.

Requirements

  • Detailed working knowledge and understanding of the supply chain and processes
  • Demonstrated experience with inventory and stock management including three-way matching via purchase orders and good receipting
  • Experience using SAP or similar materials management system
  • Ability to work without supervision and to lead a team of staff
  • Good customer service practices along with effective communication skills
  • Proactive with identification and rectification of problems
  • Advanced computer skills with a working knowledge of MS Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge and respect of workplace health & safety issues, particularly manual handling
  • Exposure to quality practices along with a willingness to identify and implement changes
  • Experience within the medical environment

Albury Wodonga Private Hospital provides an extensive range of inpatient and day patient services all located on site for the convenience of our patients. Equipped with advanced medical, surgical, and diagnostic technology, the Hospital and our team of highly skilled practitioners are able to provide the very best in medical, surgical, and psychiatric care.

The Border Cancer Hospital consists of a 28 chair day oncology ward and a 30 bed inpatient oncology ward, over two levels. The onsite medical consulting suites and radiotherapy centre are in close proximity ensuring a seamless experience for patients. We are committed to working closely with all cancer services within our community to ensure comprehensive cancer care is delivered to a high standard to the people of our region.
