Financial Capability Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Financial Capability Professional. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support consumers in building their long-term financial capability by providing guidance on budgeting, money management, and making informed financial decisions.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality services that meet the needs of our clients. You will work closely with colleagues and other stakeholders to ensure that our services are delivered efficiently and effectively.

About the Role

This is an entry-level position that requires strong communication skills, the ability to work autonomously, and excellent collaboration skills. You will need to be able to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

Your Responsibilities
  • Deliver financial literacy education and one-on-one support to individuals experiencing financial hardship.

Requirements
  • A minimum of a Certificate IV in Community Service Work or equivalent (desired).
  • Financial Literacy Education skillset (desired).
  • Currently studying Diploma of Financial Counselling (desired).
  • Demonstrated experience in administrative and intake roles (desired).
  • Experience working with Financial Counselling teams/organisations and/or clients (desired).
  • Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
