About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Kmart. As a key member of our architecture function, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and communicating architectural models, processes, tools, and standards as they relate to the technology delivery domain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable, high-performance solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS.
  • Lead API integration efforts to ensure seamless communication between systems.
  • Oversee AWS deployment processes, ensuring robust and secure cloud infrastructure.
  • Develop and manage microservices architecture to enhance system modularity and flexibility and Utilize Kafka for efficient data streaming and real-time processing.
  • Collaborate with the Architecture function and key stakeholders to deliver technological solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Define and regularly update the future architecture to align with business goals.
  • Track and limit technical debt to maintain robust and scalable architecture.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
  • Ensure solutions align with industry's best practices and organizational standards.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Solution Architect or similar role.
  • Proven experience in Java, Spring Boot, and AWS.
  • Strong background in API integration and AWS deployment.
  • Expertise in microservices architecture and Kafka.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems or end to end supply chain is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
