Job Title: Bitumen Sprayer Driver

About the Role:

Suncoast Asphalt is a leading asphalt provider servicing commercial and residential customers across south-east Queensland. We are currently seeking a highly motivated professional to join our Contracting Team as a Bitumen Sprayer Driver located in Narangba, QLD, with jobs in and around the greater Brisbane area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain bitumen spraying equipment safely and efficiently
  • Prepare and maintain equipment before and after use
  • Follow project plans and specifications for bitumen application
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Conduct routine inspections and reporting of any issues
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in bitumen spraying
  • Understanding of road construction process
  • Attention to detail and safety conscious
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel to various job sites as needed
  • Possession of a White Card for the construction industry
  • HR licence and Dangerous Goods as required for role

What We Offer:

  • Hourly rate from $37, pending experience, is negotiable. Plus penalty rates, plus super
  • Working between 8 – 12-hour shifts. Day shift 6am – 6pm, night shift 6pm – 6am
  • Uniforms and PPE provided
