About the Role

The National Film and Sound Archive of Australia is seeking an experienced marketing professional to join our team as a Creative Marketing Strategist. This role will play a key part in driving audience growth and brand awareness for the NFSA's onsite experiences in Canberra.

As a Creative Marketing Strategist, you will develop and implement marketing campaigns that promote the NFSA's exhibitions, public programs, film screenings, and events to local audiences. You will also be responsible for driving growth across all key digital platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing data-driven marketing campaigns and a strong understanding of how different messages work in various mediums. They will possess excellent project management skills, stakeholder management abilities, and the capacity to work autonomously with colleagues across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote onsite experiences, exhibitions, and events.
  • Manage campaign assets, including briefing design and audiovisual production, writing marketing copy, and managing approvals and materials production.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, develop local, industry, and community partnerships, and networks.
  • Collaborate with the wider marketing team on paid social campaigns for onsite programs, local audience interests, and events.
