In this role, you will work closely with the construction, property, and operational teams to ensure accurate asset tracking and compliance with accounting standards.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Process asset additions, disposals, and transfers into the fixed asset register promptly
  • Perform period-end close procedures for assets, depreciation/amortisation, and accruals
  • Provide invoice coding and guidance for capital and maintenance purchases
  • Maintain period-end balance sheet reconciliations and resolve queries
  • Ensure integrity and accuracy of the fixed asset register
  • Collaborate with construction, property, and operational teams
  • Apply knowledge of accounting and tax depreciation rates and methods
  • Reconcile general ledger balances with the fixed asset sub-ledger
  • Prepare asset-related disclosures for half-year and year-end accounts
  • Assist in audit preparation and process/system improvements
