The successful candidate will provide expert advice and support for procurement and contracting activities, ensuring compliance with the Department's Procurement Framework and Treasurer's Instruction 18.
- Key responsibilities include providing expert advice and support to ensure timely and compliant procurement processes, coordinating tender evaluation and renewal processes, maintaining and auditing contract records, contributing to the development and review of procurement strategies, policies, and systems, and facilitating negotiations with service providers and stakeholders to achieve value for money.
- To be successful in this role, you will require proven ability to manage multiple procurement projects, including developing acquisition plans and tender packages, strong decision-making skills, experience in advising on value-for-money procurement practices and strategies, knowledge of relevant government and departmental guidelines, excellent communication skills, and commitment to creating a safe and inclusive work environment.
