About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Woodrising area near beautiful Lake Macquarie. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be working with clients aged 0-65, focusing on supporting adult clients in the NDIS space who have a variety of diagnoses and abilities, helping them achieve independence and enhance their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support clients' goals and objectives
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' needs and strengths
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Provide education and training to clients, families, and caregivers to promote independence and self-management

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
  • Membership with AHPRA as a registered Occupational Therapist
  • Minimum of 1 year experience providing Occupational Therapy services to adults (NDIS experience is a plus)
  • Demonstrated experience prioritizing workloads and managing clients with complex needs
  • Commitment to Continuing Professional Development, Evidence-Based Practice, and measuring clinical outcomes
