Water Network Technician

A water operator is responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of the water supply network, maintaining and repairing assets, operational sites, and public facilities as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate leadership by prioritizing safety in all job planning, team meetings, and workplace inspections
  • Operate, maintain, monitor, and repair water and wastewater systems, including inspection of pipelines and repair of broken services
  • Participate in overtime and call-out availability rosters as needed

This role involves working outdoors, using a range of skills to set you up for a technical, management, or leadership position.

Willingness to learn and complete Certificate III National Water Package is essential, along with possessing a White/Blue Card and Western Australian C Class Drivers Licence, with an MR or HR truck licence being beneficial.

Previous customer service experience and civil work or water supply and wastewater system knowledge are also advantageous.

The successful candidate will be able to work regular overtime and a rotating roster.

Requirements:
  • Certificate III National Water Package
  • White/Blue Card
  • Western Australian C Class Drivers Licence, with an MR or HR truck licence being beneficial
