Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced mobile mechanic to join our team in Thornbury. The successful candidate will have a trade qualification in mechanics, relevant hands-on experience, and excellent communication skills. As a mobile mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles at customer locations.

Your day will involve:

  • Performing major and minor services and repairs, including diagnostics and breakdown repairs;
  • Working with a variety of vehicles, including cars and light commercial vehicles;
  • Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with customers;
  • Maintaining a high level of technical expertise and staying up-to-date with industry developments.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • A trade qualification in mechanics (Australia);
  • Relevant hands-on experience as a mechanic;
  • A current manual driver's licence (or be prepared to obtain one);
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Basic computer skills;
  • The ability to work some Saturdays as part of a roster system.
