As a key member of our Data Analytics team, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth through data-driven insights. The Role

We require an experienced professional to undertake the following responsibilities:

  • Gather and document business and technical requirements to enable development of data products that meet strategic objectives.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive data dictionaries, data mappings, and other technical documentation to guide data ingestion and transformation efforts, ensuring seamless data flows across systems.
  • Write efficient SQL queries to extract, analyze, and validate data from diverse databases, supporting analytical needs and improving data pipeline reliability, thereby enhancing business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to translate data structures into actionable reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions that provide valuable insights, enabling informed decision-making.
  • Review data engineering pipelines and data models to ensure accurate transformations and business rules have occurred, maintaining high data quality standards.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field, providing a strong foundation for your work.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a System Analyst, Data Analyst, or Data Business Analyst role with a focus on gathering business and technical requirements for data product development, showcasing your expertise in this area.
  • Proficiency in SQL, with experience writing complex queries for data extraction and analysis, demonstrating your ability to tackle challenging projects.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) to enhance data transformation and analysis capabilities, allowing you to stay at the forefront of industry developments.
  • Familiarity with relational databases, data models, and data warehousing concepts, giving you a deep understanding of the intricacies involved.
  • Knowledge of dimensional modelling (e.g., star schema, snowflake schema) for data warehouse design, enabling you to create robust and scalable data architectures.
