About the Role
We're seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team at GrainCorp. As a key member of our maintenance team, you'll be responsible for a range of mechanical servicing, maintenance, installations, and upgrades of fixed and mobile plant and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance tasks, including fault finding and repairs to mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Attend to equipment failure or breakdowns as they occur.
- Prepare and submit maintenance reports as requested.
- Record keeping using our SAP Maintenance platform for compliance.
About Your Experience
We're looking for a trade-qualified individual with a strong background in mechanical fitting and turning, boiler making, or a similar trade. You'll have proven fault-finding capabilities, be proactive and safety-focused, and have excellent communication skills. Computer literacy and time management abilities are essential.
