Our Member Engagement Team seeks an experienced Partnerships Manager to join our ranks. This role can be based from either Sydney or Melbourne.

The Partnerships Manager will be responsible for managing and growing strategic commercial partnerships in a planned and coordinated way, supporting both partner business objectives and AP+ goals. The role involves:

  • Growing transactions and revenues over the medium and long term
  • Managing and growing strategic commercial partnerships
  • Collaborating with partners to understand their strategy and needs
  • Driving internal alignment for best outcomes
  • Brokering relationships between teams within AP+ and partner organisations
  • Acting as an escalation for partner issues and working internally to drive timely resolutions
  • Developing strategic account plans for partners
  • Promoting the AP+ suite of products and developing propositions to drive adoption
  • Negotiating commercial agreements that meet both AP+ and partner needs

Requirements include experience in payments, ideally within a bank, acquirer, or PSP environment. Proven expertise in consultative selling and strong background in developing and nurturing strategic relationships are also necessary. Additionally, comfort working in fast-paced settings, commercial savvy, excellent negotiation abilities, and exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required.
