Team Overview:

Our Insights and Data team empowers clients to make informed business decisions by converting vast amounts of data into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement, configure, and manage Azure Maps and Bing Maps to ensure precise and accessible geospatial data for various applications.
  • Integrate Azure Maps and Bing Maps with enterprise systems and data sources to enhance operational workflows and improve decision-making processes.
  • Create and maintain high-quality geospatial visualizations to support diverse projects and initiatives, utilizing Azure Maps capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams, providing expertise in Azure Maps integration and assisting them in effectively utilizing geospatial data and visualizations.
  • Establish and uphold data quality standards and governance for geospatial information, ensuring reliability and usability across platforms.
  • Offer technical support and troubleshooting for Azure Maps implementations, ensuring optimal operation and performance.
  • Stay informed about advancements in Azure Maps and industry trends, recommending and implementing innovative solutions to enhance capabilities.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience as an Azure Maps Engineer or in a similar capacity, with expertise in deploying and managing Azure Maps and Bing Maps.
  • Practical experience in integrating geospatial solutions with enterprise systems and data sources.
  • Strong proficiency in geospatial visualization tools and techniques, utilizing Azure Maps for impactful visualizations.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of data governance and quality management principles, with the ability to ensure data integrity and reliability.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Geospatial Sciences, or a related field; relevant certifications in Azure or GIS technologies are advantageous.
