Perinatal Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate obstetrician to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will possess specialist registration, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

• Our department offers a busy birthing suite with approximately 650 deliveries per annum and outpatient clinics including ANC, Gynaecology, High Risk Obstetrics, and Colposcopy.
• Surgical services include minimally invasive, open, and laparoscopic surgery.
• There are strong links to a well-established Department of Paediatrics with Special Care Nursery.
• We have a close relationship with the University of Newcastle Department of Rural Health, teaching students in Year 3 – 5 of the Joint Medical Program.

• Provide high-quality patient care in a busy birthing suite and outpatient clinics.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in surgical services including minimally invasive, open, and laparoscopic surgery.
• Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies.
