A Senior Tax Consultant is required to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality tax advice.
Key Responsibilities- Preparing tax effect accounting calculations, consolidated returns, fringe benefits tax returns, and private binding rulings.
- Providing guidance on international tax issues (offshore expansion, CFC regimes) and assisting in M&A transactions and restructures.
- Contributing to technical training within the tax division and across the firm.
- Assisting with budgeting, WIP management and billing on allocated jobs.
- Supervising and mentoring accountants and graduates to help them develop.
- Staying engaged with the profession through involvement in relevant committees and industry bodies.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or similar) and working towards/completed CA, CPA, CTA or MTax.
- Strong interest in corporate tax compliance and advisory.
- Experience in a Big 4 or mid-tier tax division highly regarded.
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- High attention to detail with a focus on quality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Strong initiative, time management and resilience.
