In this role, you'll undertake a range of work across sectors including renewable energy, power, mining, transport and water, working with clients in both established and emerging markets across Australia, Asia Pacific, Africa, Middle East and Europe.

This will provide the opportunity to work on all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initial project structuring and procurement strategy development to drafting and negotiating a variety of agreements, including construction contracts, operation and maintenance arrangements, off-take agreements, services contracts, supply contracts, project deeds, joint venture agreements, and overseeing the entire spectrum of procurement, construction, fuel supply, and project finance.

You'll have the opportunity to work on 'first in market' projects and with clients, in Australia and internationally, who are at the forefront of the energy transition. Our global Energy team is a key strategic priority in our Ambition strategy.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • demonstrable experience with construction / infrastructure, and development projects with a focus on contract review, interpretation and negotiation.
  • an excellent academic record, coupled with strong legal skills and a practical mindset.
  • first-class attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to comprehend intricate legal matters.

You can expect a salary of around $140,000 - $180,000 AUD per annum, depending on your level of experience, plus a range of benefits and opportunities tailored to your personal and professional goals.
