Job Summary
This is a leadership role that requires expertise in visual effects and strong collaboration skills. As a Visual Effects Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and creation of lighting and look development for CG objects and scenes. You will work closely with other department Supervisors and CG Supervisors to determine the best approach to solving CG challenges and developing the final look.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with CG Supervisor, Production Manager and Producers in crewing assignments to ensure the portfolio of work on shows and strategic projects is accomplished efficiently and to a high standard.
- Work with the VFX and CG Supervisor to provide artistic and technical notes and direction to the team.
- Build and maintain complex shading networks with artist usability and user-interface support in mind.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in visual effects or related field.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced knowledge of Katana and Renderman.
