As part of our finance team, you will enjoy a fascinating variety of legal work as part of a collaborative national team. You will be working on a broad range of real estate finance matters spanning secured and unsecured facilities, both cross-border and domestic.
You will be part of a close, supportive team working closely with Nicole Boustani and other leading real estate finance partners who will enable you to build your professional brand, team leadership and client skills.
About the RoleThis is an exceptional opportunity to join our market-leading real estate finance practice, which has been consistently ranked as 'Tier 1' by Chambers & Partners. As an experienced Associate, you will advise on complex real estate finance and capital transactions, including secured and unsecured facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising on real estate debt transactions, including large syndicated financing transactions, development finance and non-bank lending transactions.
- Working on a broad range of real estate finance matters, including secured and unsecured facilities, both cross-border and domestic.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 4-6 years' experience in real estate finance, gained within a reputable commercial law firm or professional services firm.
- Strong technical drafting and communication skills.
- Ability to assist clients with making difficult decisions.
- A client-focused mindset, a responsive manner and a demonstrated ability to form enduring relationships with peers, clients and industry contacts.
- A team player attitude, a collaborative method and collegial style, and the ability to mentor more junior lawyers in the group.
