Job Overview

Critical support services are required for Defence Mission Planning systems. The role of C4I Field Service Representatives is to provide frontline operational assistance for Army Aviation Mission Planning Systems (MPS).

This includes acting as the primary point of contact for all issues relating to MPS, managing user support requests, and coordinating pre-deployment configuration.

Maintaining MPS preset data and generating mission planning outputs is also a key responsibility, as is delivering targeted training and mentoring to ADF personnel to ensure operational proficiency.

Additionally, providing technical advice on hardware, software, and system enhancements, administering MPS networks, and supporting Army Aviation communications infrastructure are essential duties.

The ability to log and resolve issues with JMPS, XPLAN, and associated MPA system tools, as well as deploying to ADF exercises, is also necessary for this role.

Requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Military Operations and Procedures is crucial.
  • Specialist aviation knowledge relevant to the supported region is also required.
  • Advanced skills in Windows OS, Excel, Word, Access, and XML are essential.
  • Demonstrated experience with ADF Aviation MPS (JMPS and XPLAN) is necessary.
  • Knowledge of tactical data links (Link 16, VMF, BFT) is also required.
