We are seeking a Child Therapist to join our team in transforming lives on a part-time basis. This role will be based across various locations in Australia.

As a Child Therapist with our organization, you'll play a crucial role in delivering early intervention and therapy services. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting standardized clinical assessments to determine goals and areas of need.
  • Providing information, education, and support to clients and families.
  • Developing functional, routine-based goals with clients and families.
  • Providing evidence-based therapy interventions and resources.
  • Reviewing progress and setting new priorities in collaboration with clients and families.
  • Supporting inclusion and participation in community activities.
  • Collaborating closely with key stakeholders and ensuring ongoing communication and support.
  • Focusing on continuous improvement through regular evaluation and review.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Tertiary Qualifications: Hold tertiary qualifications in Psychology with current registration with the relevant governing body.
  • Passion for Making a Difference: Have a passion for making therapy fun, engaging, and meaningful for families.
  • Counselling Skills: Possess the ability to provide counselling and offer knowledge of therapeutic interventions to children, young people, and parents.
  • Experience: Experience in completing risk assessments and mental health assessments is desirable.
