Reducing Environmental Impact Manager

The University is committed to reducing its environmental impact. This role plays a key part in achieving that goal by embedding sustainable procurement practices throughout the organization.

As a Reducing Environmental Impact Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring suppliers implement Net Zero Carbon Tools and provide accurate carbon emissions data.

This involves influencing and building strong working relationships with members of relevant task and finish/steering groups, proactively identifying areas where Procurement can add value in terms of sustainable, carbon-reducing solutions.

You will work closely with the University's sustainability plan and strategic goals, supporting the development of effective sustainable procurement strategies.

Kingston University's Corporate Procurement Unit (CPU) is a proactive team whose work contributes to the University's continued success. The CPU consists of a team of procurement professionals who strategically source goods and services.

They are looking for a permanent, part-time position working 22.2 hours per week. The starting salary is £29,681 per annum (£49,468 per annum pro rata).
