**Job Description:**

We are seeking a part-time SPARC Special Education Primary Teacher to join our team and play a pivotal role in the SPARC program. The SPARC Program forms part of our Learning Enhancement and Program Support (LEAPS) Department.

The LEAPS Department provides learning enrichment and support for students with diverse learning needs, including those with disabilities. The team consists of experienced professionals who work collaboratively to provide tailored support for students.

As a SPARC Teacher, you will work closely with the Director of Learning Support and the LEAPS Coordinator to provide targeted, individualised educational support for students with diverse learning needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A qualified teaching degree and current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
  • A strong understanding of special education needs and experience working with students with diverse learning profiles
  • High level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with parents, staff, and external professionals
  • Current First Aid qualifications and Anaphylaxis Certificate or willingness to obtain these prior to commencement
  • A commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education
