Job SummaryWe are looking for a self-motivated and experienced CNC Machinist to join our workshop team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for programming and operating our brand new Mazak e-500H Intergrex multifunction CNC machine and Okuma LB3000 CNC lathe, as well as our existing Okuma CNC mill and lathe equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Strip, measure, inspect, assemble, and test hydraulic cylinder components
- Conduct testing, assemble hydraulic cylinders with cleanliness and care
- Lathe work, turn up cylinder shafts, pistons, glands, barrels, and fittings
- Keep the workshop in a tidy and respectable condition
- Demonstrate a high quality of workmanship and attention to detail
- Ensure adherence to company OH&S policies and procedures
- Trade qualified fitter (or equivalent)
- Experienced in programming and operating CNC machines
- Experienced in Hydraulic Cylinders and components an advantage
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and follow instructions and work procedures
- Be physically capable to perform repetitive tasks, lifting, bending, twisting
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Have a strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Forklift Licence or the ability to obtain a licence
- MUST have full Australian Working Rights
