Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter (Turbine) to join our team in Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex tasks such as de-blading, re-blading, and rotor balancing, to maximize efficiency and operational longevity.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safety and quality compliance by following procedures, using protective gear, and adhering to company values. Key responsibilities include disassembling, repairing, and balancing mechanical equipment, conducting measurements and inspections, replacing or repairing mechanical components, and operating and maintaining balance of plant items.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Trade Certificate III in Fitting & Turning or similar qualification.
  • Proven experience in mechanical fitting on turbines and/or rotating machinery.
  • Strong ability to manage workloads effectively while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Valid Driver's and Forklift Licence.
