Opportunities exist for a Vacation Student - Electrical Engineer to join our Maintenance Engineering team.

Your Role
  • You will assist with electrical inspections and condition monitoring of real-world systems, gaining hands-on experience in electrical systems and project ownership within the industry.
  • Support root cause analysis of electrical faults and failures by collecting and analyzing data, identifying patterns and areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to updating maintenance strategies and electrical system documentation to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Participate in shutdown planning and execution, ensuring seamless operation of equipment.
  • Collaborate with trades and engineering teams on improvement initiatives, sharing knowledge and best practices.
  • Prepare technical documentation and reports on electrical systems, summarizing key findings and recommendations.
  • Work under the supervision of an experienced electrical engineer, receiving guidance and feedback on tasks aligned to your engineering background and learning goals.
About You
  • You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field, with a strong academic record.
  • You have experience with relevant software and systems through studies or placements, with a proven ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practical situations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills enable you to identify and resolve complex issues efficiently.
  • You possess effective communication skills across verbal, written, numerical, and graphical formats, facilitating collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • You can maintain high work standards, build strong relationships with peers and leaders, and demonstrate adaptability in a dynamic environment.
  • You have the capacity to work independently to meet personal and team goals, prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • A valid manual driver's license is essential for site visits and travel.
  • You are willing to live and work remotely, with minimal supervision required.
