Auxiliary Fire Support Specialist

We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated professionals to fill key roles in our fire response team. As a vital member of our auxiliary fire team, you will be part of a dynamic unit that provides critical emergency services and engages in community outreach initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities- Respond promptly to emergency incidents, ensuring the safety of individuals and communities while promoting preparedness through targeted education and awareness programs.
- Maintain high levels of competency by actively participating in rigorous training exercises and professional development opportunities offered by the QFES.
- Adhere to strict attendance standards for emergency responses and training sessions, operate specialized firefighting equipment safely and effectively, and contribute to the upkeep and maintenance of station facilities as needed.
- Obtain employer consent to participate in emergency responses (where applicable)
- Reside or work within reasonable proximity to the auxiliary fire station
- Possess Australian Permanent Resident Status
- Hold a valid Manual C Class driver's license
