Job Overview
This role is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and energetic Health & Safety Business Partner to join Boral's national Health and Safety team and be based at our St Peters Quarry and Rail site.
As a key member of our team, you will support a cluster of sites across Sydney Metro within Boral's Sydney Concrete businesses, focusing on driving, facilitating and implementing significant and meaningful health and safety improvements across a diversified operational portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Support operational teams to be more effective in their roles, creating a safer workplace for all.
- Build the operational teams' collective health and safety capacity by providing specialist health and safety advice, support and coaching.
- Focus the Product Lines efforts on understanding and managing its risk profile, verifying critical control implementation and identifying and coordinating risk reduction, improvement and assurance activities.
- Support the roll out and implementation of the Boral Health & Safety Strategy including delivery of various projects.
- Facilitation and management of incident response and subsequent analysis and learnings.
Requirements
- A positive and proactive approach with a willingness and commitment to partnering with and supporting operational teams.
- Any exposure to supporting transport or rail sites will be highly regarded.
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally with strong skills in incident investigations.
- Proven experience with implementing successful organisational change within complex environments.
- Knowledge of WHS regulations, systems, processes and Information Systems.
- Cert IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety.
