Occupational Therapist or Exercise Physiologist - Regional Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Occupational Therapist or Exercise Physiologist to join our regional team as a Rehabilitation Consultant.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to make a real difference in people's lives by providing excellent customer care and helping your clients regain their independence and achieve their goals in life and work.

As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a vital role in the provision of workplace rehabilitation services to help build better lives through work and health. You will support people to get well and working, working closely with clients, insurers, medical practitioners and employers to achieve outcomes appropriate for all parties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct worksite, functional, ergonomic, equipment and home assessments
  • Identify Return to Work (RTW) barriers and design, implement and monitor programs that assist injured employees to return to the workforce
  • Liaise with clients, insurers, medical practitioners and employers to achieve outcomes appropriate for all parties
Requirements:
  • Australian recognised degree qualification and full Accreditation in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology or related field
  • Willingness to travel (A current vehicle and drivers licence is required)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Determination to consistently provide a high level of customer service
