Data Center Planning Specialist

As a Data Center Planning Specialist at Amazon, you will be responsible for managing the construction of our state-of-the-art data centers. This role requires strong project management skills, as well as the ability to drive costs down and schedules shorter while maintaining quality.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Project management and oversight of construction-related activities for new builds or general capital projects.
- Driving costs down and schedules shorter while maintaining quality.
- Providing Construction Management for specific initiatives aimed at increasing the resiliency of our data centers.
What You'll Need:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 7+ years of work experience in design and construction management experience.
- Experience in program management in mission-critical facilities.
- Experience in reading and interpreting construction-related drawings for all disciplines.
A Day in the Life:
You will spend most of your time on site working closely with contractors to drive project outcomes. As a Data Center Planning Specialist, you will be part of a diverse team that values innovative solutions and maintains a focus on delivering high-quality results.
