At Royal Hobart Hospital's Ward 7a, we are committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a supportive and collaborative environment. We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Support Professional to join our team, providing support to our nursing staff to deliver exceptional patient care. Our ward operates in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on acute stroke, endocrinology, gastroenterology, neurology, renal medicine, and rheumatology.

Your key responsibilities will include assisting patients with their daily needs, such as personal care, dressing, and grooming, as well as supporting nursing staff with tasks such as medication management and wound care. You will also contribute to maintaining a safe and clean environment for our patients.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team. You will also require a Certificate in Health Services Assistance (Acute Care) or a related qualification. In addition, you will need to be able to lift and move patients safely, using appropriate manual handling techniques.
