About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) to join our team at the Central Adelaide Local Health Network. As an ANUM, you will play a key role in supporting the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) in leading and managing our dedicated nursing team. You will work closely with the NUM to ensure the delivery of consistent care across the unit, collaborating with other healthcare staff to implement best practices and drive continuous improvement.

Your leadership skills will help create a positive and supportive work environment where nurses can thrive and patients receive exceptional care. You will be responsible for assisting with staffing, rostering, and leave management, as well as supporting recruitment and performance management processes. You will also be involved in financial planning and monitoring to ensure the smooth operation of the unit.

About You

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated mental health nurse who brings both clinical expertise and strong leadership qualities. The ideal candidate will have a Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing or equivalent and at least three years of post-registration experience in mental health nursing. You will also possess strong communication and leadership skills, with experience in managing teams and facilitating change.
