Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Production Team Lead to join our team in the Hunter Region. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day guidance and direction to ensure production activities are conducted safely and efficiently.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $120,000 per annum, plus eligibility for an annual incentive program. Additionally, we offer 16 weeks paid parental leave, free onsite gym facilities, access to an Employee Assistance Program, onsite parking, and canteen facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure production activities are conducted safely in accordance with relevant standards and operating procedures.
  2. Promote safe behaviors and practices in accordance with Tomago's key philosophy of 'Mates looking after Mates'.
  3. Engage employees in identifying safety improvements and simplification/implementation of systems and processes to enable effectiveness and efficiency in production.
  4. Provide day-to-day leadership, expertise, and direction to achieve objectives and deliver a quality service.
  5. Promote a culture of ownership and achievement through your highly developed coaching skills.
  6. Build and develop a competent, engaged, and committed team.
  7. Communicate effectively with key business stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Commitment to Environment, Health, and Safety principles and systems.
  • Solid presentation, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to liaise at all levels of organization.
  • Relevant on-the-job experience.
  • Proven experience leading teams to achieve goals, building team morale, performance, and safety.
  • Certificate IV – Frontline Leadership (desirable).
  • Strong planning and organizing skills with the ability to establish work priorities.
  • Customer-focused with commitment to Quality & CI principles.
  • Sound PC skills - Microsoft Office and SAP.
  • Ability to work rotating shift roster (12hr 4x4).
