Job Description

Conquest Personnel Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Northern Sydney. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our facilities and plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Repair: Accountability for the maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Facilities Management: Lead efforts to upgrade and maintain facilities for safety, efficiency, and reliability, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
  • Project Management: Lead projects involving installation, modification, or renovation of building, plant, and equipment, collaborating with engineers, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Cost Control: Manage costs, scheduling, and development of maintenance activities to ensure budgetary compliance.
  • Emergency Response: Be on call for emergency repairs required outside regular hours, ensuring prompt response and minimal disruption.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Formal trade qualifications as a Fitter, Restricted Electrical Licence, Australian Motor Vehicle Driving Licence, and Forklift Licence.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work as part of a team, proactive approach with attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Experience: Previous exposure to plastic injection molding machines, their auxiliaries, mobile and fixed plant equipment used in assembly, general welding skills, and general machining capabilities would be an advantage.
