Enrolled Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse with Medication Endorsement to join our team at Uniting AgeWell - Andrew Kerr Care. As a key member of our care team, you will provide leadership and supervision to Personal Care Workers and support Registered Nurses in their role to promote a harmonious team approach to the delivery of resident care.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, person-centered care to residents and families, considering cultural, spiritual, and individual needs.
- Provide nursing care to residents with complex needs, including palliative care, dementia support, restorative care, and pain management.
- Support nursing staff regarding assessment and care planning processes, documentation, and evaluation of care outcomes.
- Analyze risk, implement strategies, and participate in clinical handover with Registered Nurses.
- Promote a harmonious team approach by acting as a role model in coordinating daily routines and adhering to safe practice measures in medication management.
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Enrolled Nurse with Medication Endorsement who is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our residents. You will have:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (Div 2).
- Experience as an EEN in residential aged care or home care (preferred).
- Experience with dementia care and palliative care support (desired).
- Proficiency in decision making, critical analysis, and on-the-spot problem solving.
- Demonstrated abilities to delegate and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with exemplary communication skills.
- A current Working With Children Check card.
- Current and ongoing flu vaccinations.
- Australian working rights.
- Ability to pass a national police clearance.
