At Dan Murphy's, we're seeking a skilled Wine Merchant to join our team. As a Wine Merchant, you'll play a critical role in creating a distinctive customer experience by sharing your passion for wine and investing time into every customer moment.

The Role:

• Develop and execute wine tasting events that inspire customers to engage with and learn about our products
• Build rapport with customers by taking them on a tailored journey of discovery, centered around education on product and loyalty benefits
• Collaborate with store leaders to achieve sales targets and KPIs, exhibiting a continuous improvement mindset
• Advocate for education and empower store team members with knowledge sharing and product coaching

The Ideal Candidate:

• Has previous experience in a customer-facing role and a track record of creating memorable customer experiences
• Is a wealth of knowledge in the world of wine and driven to continue their learning journey and support others in their discovery
• Is an imaginative storyteller with enthusiasm and authenticity in all interactions
• Has successfully completed WSET Level 2 or equivalent industry experience
• Is available to work in peak customer hours
• Is connected to the wine community and takes pride in representing themselves and their business at industry days and events
