Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of School to lead our Cairns campus. As the foundation Head of School, you will play a critical role in establishing and managing the campus, including its teaching and learning programs, compliance requirements, and staffing. You will work closely with other Heads of School and the Executive Principal to facilitate the Indie Way and create high-quality holistic learning programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and management to the campus, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Teaching and Learning: Develop and implement teaching and learning programs that cater to the diverse needs of students, promoting academic excellence and personal growth.
- Staff Management: Recruit, develop, and manage a team of educators and support staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver exceptional education.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure the campus operates within regulatory requirements, identifying and mitigating risks to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with parents, students, and the wider community, promoting a culture of collaboration and mutual respect.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in educational leadership, with a proven track record of success in managing schools or educational programs.
- Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders. Ability to think strategically and make informed decisions that align with the company's vision and values.
