The Job Description

In this critical role, you will manage group reservations across our three venues: Matteo Double Bay and Matteo Downtown. Your primary responsibility is to ensure accurate and efficient communication with clients while supporting the Sales and Events team.

You will achieve this by:

  • Optimizing bookings, revenue, and guest satisfaction through effective reservation system management
  • Providing excellent customer service through outstanding booking experiences, email responses, and inbound phone calls
  • Collaborating with the events and marketing team to enhance restaurant operations
Key Requirements

To excel in this position, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar reservation management role
  • Prior experience with Sevenrooms or a similar booking system is highly beneficial
  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage VIP guests effectively
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask with a proactive attitude
  • Capacity to work well under pressure
