About This Role

This role offers an opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team, providing support for Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Dietitians and Speech Pathologists in delivering services to the aged community of Ryde and Hunters Hill LGAs.

As an Allied Health Assistant, you will assist in providing both group and individual treatment programs empowering aged clients to maintain independence and improve quality of life. Job share arrangements will be considered for suitable applicants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to AHPs in delivering services to the aged community
  • Assist in developing and implementing treatment programs
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent qualification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated computer literacy skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
