  • Provide support to clients in their own homes and surroundings;
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing and dressing;
  • Transport clients to appointments and activities;
  • Provide respite care for carers;
  • Perform domestic duties, such as cleaning and laundry;
  • Offer emotional support and companionship;

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability or Home and Community Care (or the aspiration to get one);
  • A solid understanding of the needs of older people and their carers;
  • The ability to work as part of a team to achieve goals;
  • A current Australian driver's license;
  • A reliable registered vehicle with comprehensive vehicle insurance;
  • A smart mobile phone and internet access;
  • Previous experience in a similar role;
  • To be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
