Job Description

As a surgical nurse, you will gain experience in a wide variety of patients with flexibility to suit your lifestyle. We offer part-time and full-time options with remuneration including hourly pay, superannuation, and salary packaging.

You will be based within our 20-bed General Surgery Unit at Belmont District Hospital where you will manage post-operative patients, assess their needs effectively, and escalate care as required. This fast-paced environment provides an opportunity to enhance patient care using your previous experience in surgical nursing.

The General Surgery Unit is a close-knit team that supports each other both in and out of work hours. You will receive supernumerary days and ongoing professional development opportunities from leadership.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Registered Nurse. The successful candidate will have current registration with AHPRA and the ability to practice effectively in a surgical setting.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with Authority to Practice with AHPRA
