Job Summary

This is a fixed night shift role in our Caboolture Sawmill facility, reporting to the Team Leader. The successful applicant will be responsible for efficiently and safely conducting cleaning duties around the Sawmill, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and area presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work effectively in a safe manner and support a safe working environment in accordance with legislative requirements and company policies and standards
  • Have a proactive attitude, with an attention to detail driving a wish to take pride in the departments presentation and operational success
  • Participate in job rotation when required to support the requirements of the site
  • Cleaning of all plant and equipment in a safe and competent manner, as to minimise risk of injury to a person or damage to the plant and equipment
  • Maintain and improve housekeeping standards within established organisational standards
Requirements
  • Participate in job rotation where and when required through-out the site
  • Must be prepared to undertake further training in order to improve skills base
  • Ability to work autonomously, and as an integral part of a team
  • Work permanent Shift Work with limited supervision
