This role involves actively engaging with participants to overcome career challenges, develop essential skills and achieve their employment goals. Key activities include:

  1. Providing one-to-one coaching sessions to participants, assessing their career needs and creating personalised action plans.
  2. Conducting career assessments and helping clients identify their strengths, interests and values to guide their employment goals.
  3. Utilising sales strategies to work collaboratively and network with community organisations to create opportunities for participants.
  4. Assisting participants in developing effective job search strategies, including resume writing and interview preparation.
  5. Referring participants through training, counselling and other services to increase long-term employment outcomes.

As someone who enjoys working autonomously within a broader team environment, enthusiastic, empathetic and dedicated to making a difference in people's lives, you will have experience in administration, strong attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines and outlined KPI targets and be able to work in an agile environment.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Experience in customer service, client-facing or an administrative role.
  • Time management, organisational skills and the ability to plan and prioritise in order to achieve outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills with well-developed verbal and written skills, and the ability to conduct client assessments, developing case plans and case notes and reports.
  • Interpersonal conflict resolution and negotiation skills along with the ability to identify innovative and lateral solutions to problems.
  • Ability to develop relationships with employers and relevant stakeholders.
